Same Day Agra Tour By Train

TOUR OVERVIEW

Same Day Agra Tour by Train

A variation of our “Same Day Agra Tour” is the “Same Day Agra Tour by Train.” Agra can be reached from Delhi using the Gatimaan Express, which is a quick train. This train connects the two cities in about an hour and 40 minutes and is specifically designed for those who simply wish to spend a day in Agra.

The Gatimaan Express departs from Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin Station at 8:10 a.m. and arrives at Agra Cantonment Station at 09:50 a.m. From there, and throughout the day, you will be accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide who is a native of Agra and will ensure that you do not miss any of the city’s secrets. We will return you to the hotel after the tour railway station. Your train will depart at 17:50 and reach Delhi (Hazrat Nizamuddin Station) at 19:30.

Taj Mahal:

The Taj Mahal is a symbol of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan’s unending love for Mumtaz, his cherished wife. It will, without a doubt, be the first and most unforgettable part of your trip to Agra. You will have enough opportunity to explore the white marble mausoleum and snap photographs throughout the trip. Agra is rich in ancient sites, and it served as the country’s capital until 1638, when Delhi took over. As a result, following your visit to the Taj Mahal, you will have the chance to visit – depending on your preferences.

Agra Fort:

The Mughal Emperor Akbar erected Agra Fort, his ancient fortress made of red sandstones, between 1565 and 1573, although it was finished in 95 years by four Mughal Emperors and served as the principal home of Mughal Emperors for over a century.

Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daula:

Itimad-ud-Daula, commonly known as the “Baby Taj Mahal,” was erected by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir’s father, Nur Jahan. It is frequently referred to as the “Baby Taj Mahal” since it is claimed to have acted as a draught for the Taj Mahal, which was erected later. The specifics and schedule must be agreed upon in accordance with your preferences. What if I told you that Agra is well known throughout the country for its “Petha,” a cube-shaped dessert? Give it a go..
